I was given the opportunity to try out and review bamboo washcloths for the first time. I had read about how soft they were but in my head that didn't make sense at all. Bamboo is not a soft plant! Needless to say, I was very curious. My face is overly sensitive because of the medication I'm on so I'm always looking for soft washcloths to use. I use the prescription cream Retin A on my face every night. It makes the skin sensitive to rough fabrics and a nubby washcloth will literally rub the first layer of skin off my face and I look like I have burn patches! It happens on a weekly basis. There's really not much I can do besides try not to rub when washing my face, but then I often can't get my face clean enough. Especially when wearing eye makeup. Super soft washcloths sound like a dream to me so I placed my order.
They arrived in a pack of 6. They were each tied with an adorable little bow. They opened up into a nice big 'full' sized washcloth of 10" X 10". These are a lovely ivory color. I love the fact that these are organic and hypoallergenic. They are very absorbent and are truly the softest washcloths I have ever used! I haven't had 1 raw patch on my face while I've been using them and they even seem to get softer as I use them which is just awesome. These would be great for babies too since they are so soft....plus they packaging is really cute, so they would make a great gift.
I can't even express how happy I am with these super soft washcloths! If you want to get your own set of Brooklyn Bamboo washcloths you can order them right here on Amazon. I know you will love them as much as I do!
