Loreal Color Vibrancy Intensive : Review

This post was sponsored by Influenster.
A little over a month ago I got a package in the mail from Loreal and Influenster. It contained 3 full size products from the Color Vibrancy Intensive line: shampoo, conditioner & post-color repair mask. This is perfect for me because my hair is lightened every 2 months at a salon and as such has quite a bit of damage. Some shampoos make it feel dry and brittle, and I've spent a lot of money over the years on salon brands to minimize the damage. I was looking forward to trying this since I had heard great things about it, and the cost was considerably less then what I had been shelling out.

Loreal, review

Since the original writing of this post L'Oreal has changed the name of this product to Elvive, Color Vibrancy. I was going to remove this review but after trying the newly branded shampoo and conditioner, I decided to leave it up since it's pretty much just a name change....the product has remained the same.

The original review:

I've been using the whole shampoo, conditioner and treatment line for several weeks now and my hair has really improved a lot! It no longer feels dry and brittle and doesn't tangle up as easily. Plus I really like the smell. It's not heavy or perfume like. It smells good, but my hair doesn't smell like it all day long.

The only thing I find weird is that the mask isn't that much better than the conditioner. I don't know if that means the conditioner is just that good (probably) or that the mask isn't that good. If I compare it to other masks I've tried in the last few years it's so much better then them but again, still pretty close in quality to this conditioner. Basically, if you can only get 2 go with the shampoo & conditioner and skip the mask.
I like the fact that this is available in any grocery, drug or big box store. It's so much easier to find then the salon lines...especially if you don't remember you're out till you're driving home from work at 4am. Oh, is that just me? Anyway, if they don't happen to have this in your local store just yet you can order it from Amazon. They have all 3: shampoo & conditioner set & Repair balm (mask).

I did get this product for free from Influenster but I did buy it again recently to check out  the name change thing. I do love this product line and will continue to use it!

Once again, this item was sent to me by Influenster in exchange for my honest review.
