RIM Sports Fitness Gloves: Review

RIM Sports ladies fitness gloves: my review

I've been going to the gym since I was 18. That's 25 years of fitness equipment experience. There's been some bad and some good, but one thing I found is essential to a good workout is a pair of comfortable and functional workout gloves.

Gloves make it easier to get a good grip on weights, bars etc. It's hard to get good results from your workout if your hands are always slipping, right? So I've come to rely on my gloves to be a little helper of sorts at the gym.

I recently got the opportunity to check out these fitness gloves from RIM Sports. I have been wearing them at the gym and during my home workouts and I really like them. I was definitely surprised by how comfortable they were, even after 2 hours! My old gloves would start to chafe and rub, but not these. They felt great through the whole workout!

Some of the things I really liked about these gloves:
  • They have breathable mesh across the back so my hands didn't get sweaty.
  • The suede on the palms kept the weights from slipping.
  • They are flexible and just padded enough to keep me from getting blisters but not so padded that my hands felt awkward.
  • Washable! Do you know how gross my gym gear gets? This one is super important!
  • Plus they're cute!

best workout gloves: a review

They do look great in addition to being very functional. In fact, my grown daughter is already trying to snag them from me. (not happening kiddo!) She can order her own pair right here! They also come in Pink and there are 5 sizes to choose from so you're sure to find the perfect fit.

I was sent a pair of these gloves in exchange for my review and I believe I put them through some rather rigorous testing these last few days! The folks at RIM Sports have been really great so make sure you swing by their Facebook page and say hi to them! If you have any questions that is the place to ask them. (they respond really quickly from what I've seen)

If your serious about your fitness, you need a great pair of gloves to help you achieve your goals....in my opinion, this is a great pair of gloves.

  1. OH these look so great! I am in need of some gloves like these. I currently own a pair of straps for lifting (basically just for deadlifts) but my hands are getting a bit sore from the free weights. These would be perfect. All I can find in the nearest store is pink and black. I am tired of black and I have never been a girly girl so the teal color is a good one for me. Do you happen to know how the size run? How do I know what size would fit me best?

    1. I ordered the small. Normally I would fit a medium, but I like these types of gloves to be snug. They fit perfect! Their page says they are "true to size but if you're between sizes, order the smaller size". Hope that helps!

  2. I don't go to the gym at the moment, but I do work out at home, and these gloves look nicer than the basic ones you see in the stores (which all look like they are made for men). May have to give these a try! Really like that they are washable.

  3. NICE! I need some for the gym when I start going back. We have a membership, but we never canceled it and have been taking a LOOOONG unexpected break. :/ I do want to go back and these would be great for when I lift weights because my hands always get raw. Thanks!

    1. I recently went back to the gym after a medical 'break'. Dr's orders *sigh* so I was kinda weak palmed when I got back. My hands were getting sore but they're not anymore since I got the gloves! You should try them.

  6. What a really nice looking pair of gloves! I have a cute pink and black pair (different brand), but these would be a nice way to mix it up. They look like they fit you well -- uh, like a glove!

  7. Oh those gloves are stylish! I love that you mentioned how they don’t rub or irritate you after wearing them for a long period of time. They sound very functional. Your pictures are really great for displaying the true style and function of the gloves.

  8. Absolutely love the shade so cute and stylish. These look like snug fit and that what i want in my gym gloves. It gives better grip on weights while exercising.

  9. I have never tried fitness gloves before. I have always though they would be too bulky and not really help that much. These don't sound like that! The suede on the inside of the hand sounds like it would help you keep your grip well and protect the hand too. may have to give them a try.
